US President Barack Obama on Monday defended his problem-plagued health reform plan, declaring at a White House event that, despite numerous glitches, the program is already helping many uninsured Americans. "Let me remind everybody that the Affordable Care Act is not just a website," Obama said, after the troubled online rollout of the plan. CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — The Spanish-language enrollment portal on Nevada’s health insurance exchange is being delayed another few days as problems are worked out.
The portal was supposed to be up and running Nov. 16, but officials say more testing revealed stability issues with the site.
Patches are being applied and officials say it should go live later this week.
Nevada’s online insurance exchange set up as part of President Obama’s health care reform law operates as Nevada Health Link.
