Las Vegas – A 23-year-old Vegas man is the new king of poker. Ryan Riess defeated Jay Farber for the World Series of Poker championship Tuesday night, in a head-to-head battle that lasted nearly four hours.

Riess, known to fans as “The Beast,” took home more than eight-million dollars and a gold bracelet. Farber received five-point-two million dollars for his second-place finish.
