(Carson City, NV)  —  State Senator Barbara Cegavske says she’ll run for secretary of state next year.

The longtime Las Vegas Republican says she’ll “ensure the integrity of elections,” and establish Nevada “as the best place to do business.”

Cegavske will face Jordan Bradley in the GOP primary.

Democrat and state treasurer Kate Marshall is also seeking the post being vacated by Ross Miller, who’s running for attorney general.
