(Las Vegas, NV) – So just how strong were the wind gusts Sunday night into Monday morning in southern Nevada?

Up on Mt Charleston, a hurricane-force gust of 77mph was recorded between midnight and 1am, with steady winds of between 20 and 40mph in Las Vegas all night long.

The National Weather Service also reported a gust of 67mph at Redrock Canyon around 2:30 in the morning.

There have been reports of at least one uprooted tree in the Mountains Edge neighborhood in the southwest valley near Blue Diamond and Buffalo.
