(Sparks, NV)  —  Friends and family gathered for a candlelight vigil at Sparks Middle School.

Hundreds of people attended last night’s event at the campus, to honor slain math teacher Michael Landsberry and two students who were wounded Monday morning before the 12-year-old suspect turned the gun on himself.

The parents of the two students don’t believe their children were singled out.

Authorities have not released the name of the shooter.  A motive is still unknown.
