(Las Vegas, NV) — The Republican National Committee has begun a campaign of robocalls to Nevada constituents of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

The message accuses Democrats of “playing politics” and cutting off veterans’ benefits.

Also being targeted are Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and Senators Mark Begich, Mary Landrieu, and Kay Hagan.

A television campaign was launched earlier this month by the Democrat-supporting House Majority PAC.  Their commercials blamed the federal government shutdown on Republicans, including Nevada’s third district Congressman Joe Heck.
