Can’t we just get along ? Are the divisions too deep for our Senators and Representatives to make adult compromises.
AP reports Lawmakers say the partial government shutdown that started Tuesday seems to be quickly merging with a more critical showdown over the nation’s expiring line of credit. Meanwhile, House Republicans are keeping up a drive to open certain agencies and programs on a piecemeal basis. And lawmakers could vote on legislation today that would authorize back pay for the 800,000 government workers on furlough. (Video Below)
