There’s another candidate to replace Doug Gillespie as Sheriff. 55-year-old Capt. Larry Burns is currently in charge of Metro’s Bolden Area Command. He’s been on the force since 1986. Others already in the race include former Metro Assistant Sheriff Ted Moody, former Las Vegas Constable Bobby Gronauer, Metro Police Officer Laurie Bisch, and police detective Gordon Martinez.
