UNLV Snaps 23-Game Road Losing Streak

Las Vegas – The streak is finally over. The Rebels picked up their first road win in almost four years, back where it all began in Albuquerque, outgunning the Lobos Saturday night, 56-42.

UNLV scored eight touchdowns, including four through the air and four on the ground. Rebel quarterback Caleb Herring through for 293 yards and four touchdowns, while running back Tim Cornett rushed 25 times for 179 yards and three touchdowns.

UNLV (3-2) won its third consecutive game and snapped their 23-game road losing streak in the process. The Rebels last won on the road on October 24, 2009 at New Mexico.

Following a bye week, UNLV will next face Hawaii on October 12th at Sam Boyd Stadium.
