Las Vegas — Its a new Nevada traffic law that begins Tuesday. Those on motorcycles, bicycles, and electrical bikes can make a left or right hand turn on a red light. But there’s a catch, as explained by state Assemblyman Richard Carillo of Las Vegas, who was a co-sponsor of the new law. He says you have to wait 2 cycles before going through that light. He adds that part of the reason for the new law is our hot climate, and that not having to wait even longer for that light will help. He says even though motorcycles don’t use a lot of gas, they’ll save even more by not idling at the light so long.
