(Las Vegas, NV) More than 20 schools across the Clark County School District have had problems with air conditioning already this school year.
Today KXNT spoke with Cashman Middle School Principal Misti Taton and was informed there are four rooms that are without air. When this happens classrooms are shared or students are taken to the library to continue their work.
Taton says the problem has been ongoing in her six years as the principal and kids have even gone as far as to sit outside in the shade.
Durango and Valley High Schools have had to send their entire campuses home due to faulty units.
There are over 350 schools in the district and over 7,000 air conditioning units.
