(Las Vegas, NV) — Metro police have arrested seven people in connection with a catalytic converter theft ring.
SWAT officers served warrants yesterday at two locations, a warehouse near Industrial Road and Sahara and a home in Summerlin.
Dozens of stolen converters were seized.
Police say the pollution control devices were stolen from parked cars and melted down for their platinum.
The suspects face dozens of charges, including grand larceny.
