LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police say murder-suicide is suspected in the deaths of two people whose bodies were found late Friday in a desert area near East Lake Mead Boulevard.

Police say emergency dispatchers received a call around 7 p.m. about a woman being taken from her home by her ex-boyfriend.

About three hours later they received another report of two bodies in and near a vehicle in the desert.

Detectives on Saturday said the people and the vehicle were the same as described in the earlier report.

Names of the deceased were not immediately released and autopsies are planned to determine an exact cause of death.
