WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) — Sheriff’s deputies in New Hanover County say they have made one of their biggest heroin seizures.
Detectives seized almost 15,000 bags of heroin valued at $500,000 following a six-month investigation.
Cpl. Jason Augst says two men have been charged with trafficking heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Detectives arrested 34-year-old Samuel Bernard Williams and 36-year-old Kevin Che Robinson. Each is in jail on $3 million bond. It was not immediately clear if they had attorneys.
