Las Vegas – The Las Vegas Wranglers have hired a new assistant coach, former Wranglers defensemen Aaron Power will join head coach and general manager Mike Madill on the bench this season.
“I’m very excited to have Aaron join the team as an assistant coach, and having him will help in countless areas,” said Wranglers Head Coach and General Manager Mike Madill. “As a player, Aaron was always a power play specialist, and those skills can be passed on to our players and will be something our team will benefit from. Aaron has a huge connection with this city and our team, and fans really enjoyed watching him play. I know they will be excited to have a personality like his back around the rink.”
Power, 31, played nine seasons of hockey, including three with the Wranglers before retiring in 2012.
