(Las Vegas, NV) Las Vegas drivers now have two new specialty license plates to choose from that will benefit the Air Force Thunderbirds and Nevada Health Centers.
The specialty plates, which will cost $61 initially and $30 for each annual renewal, will be available at some Nevada DMV offices starting Monday, August 12th.
The Nevada Appeal reports the plates will be available in rural offices by Aug. 15.
Both organizations will receive $25 for each initial plate issued and $20 for each plate renewal.
Proceeds from the Thunderbirds plates will go to the Nevada State Veterans Home.
The Nevada Health Centers plates will benefit the organization’s mobile-mammogram screening program for uninsured women or women in rural areas.
