(Carson City, NV) — If some Republican leaders have their way, Las Vegas will host the party’s national convention in 2016.

State GOP finance chairman Dan Schwartz tells the “Review-Journal” there are still hurdles to overcome.

They include upgrading the Thomas and Mack Center and raising millions of dollars.

Las Vegas’ gambling and adult entertainment culture may not sit well with Republican leaders.
