(LAS VEGAS, KXNT)–Residents, businesses, and visitors in downtown Las Vegas are being asked to participate in an online survey that city officials say is an ‘excellent engagement tool.”

Started this week, the website Your Voice Vegas  offers simple questions about the experience of living, visiting, or doing business downtown.

“We want to hear from the residents of Las Vegas about how they feel about downtown and what we can do to make it even better,” said City Manager Elizabeth N. Fretwell.

The survey results will be used to determine decisions by city council, and police and safety officials.

The site was originally started last December to provide a 24-7 opportunity to interact with city leaders.

There is also a comments section to the survey, and participants can use their Facebook, Google, and LinkedIn accounts to sound off.

As an incentive, those who participate will accrue points based on their level of participation and be eligible for a number of rewards. Some of the rewards include free tickets to the Mob Museum as well as passes for the city’s fitness centers.
