(Las Vegas, NV) — A new student housing project on the UNLV campus is moving forward.

The Board of Regents has given the green light for the $175 million Midtown Project, creating a 14-acre apartment complex which will eventually house up to 2000 students by the fall of 2015.

The public-private development will help ease overcrowding at UNLV’s dorms.
