CBS LAS VEGAS – Kevin Wall interviewed Executive Secretary and Treasurer of the Nevada AFL-CIO, Danny L. Thompson, on living wage as opposed to regular minimum wage in Nevada. He said Nevada has amended the Federal minimum wage and requires employers to pay one dollar over the mandated rate.

Kevin also interviewed the Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Glenn Cook who related that legislating a living wage bill is impractical.

The third hour of Kevin’s show was devoted to discussion with listeners about golfer, Hunter Mahan, who left the the Canadian Open. Hunter flew back to the United States because his pregnant wife was going through labor at a hospital.
