(Las Vegas, NV) The man who admitted to setting fire to Nellis Baptist Church made a court appearance, but will have to wait for his day in court.

35-year-old Adrian Kincade is facing charges of burglary and first degree arson in connection to the fire set to the church on North Las Vegas Blvd. in June.

A preliminary hearing had been scheduled, but a judge accepted a request that Kincade undergo a mental evaluation prior to any further proceedings.

Church deacon Michael Etherton told police that Kincade was barred from the church property for making life threats to the pastor and his family.

Kincade is due back in court on July 19th.
