(Las Vegas, NV) In Clark County illegal fireworks are defined as “devices that rocket, explode or move more than five feet from where they are ignited.”

Feel Free to light your fire until 11:59 pm, July 4th. From June 28th to July 4th each year over 150 fireworks stands and booths are erected to sell legal Safe-N-Sane fireworks.

However, with this hot and dry weather there are added elements when using fireworks. The risk of fire, injury or even death from fireworks is even greater due to the conditions.

It’s illegal to use them inside buildings, on streets, in parks and recreation areas or on federal property

Illegal fireworks include those that fly through the air, explode or spin on the ground.

You should not call 911 to report illegal fireworks. Only call 911 to report injuries or fires.

Fines for illegal fireworks can be up to $1,000 and six months in jail.
