LAS VEGAS (AP) — The U.S. Supreme Court has decide not to hear a case about the constitutionality of Nevada banning same-sex marriage at this time.

A day after ruling on two gay marriage issues, the Supreme Court is sending Sevcik v. Sandoval, a challenge involving eight Nevada couples and Gov. Brian Sandoval to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Nevada voted to ban same-sex marriages by approving a constitutional amendment in 2002.
