Las Vegas – Now that the NBA season is over and the Miami Heat have had their little parade, all eyes shift to New York and the 2013 NBA Draft.

Most NBA and college analysts have either Kentucky’s center Nerlens Noel or Georgetown small forward Otto Porter going 1st to the Cavaliers.

UNLV forward Anthony Bennett who averaged 16 points, 8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks last season with the Rebels is projected by most to be a top five pick.

CBS Sports NBA writer Matt Moore has Bennett going 4th to the Charlotte Bobcats, as does ESPN’s Chad Ford. CBS Sports college basketball insider Gary Parrish has Bennett dropping down to 6th to the New Orleans Pelicans.

The player with local ties to keep your eye on Thursday night is UCLA standout and Bishop Gorman grad, Shabazz Muhammad, who projected by most to be a top 15 pick

The 2013 NBA Draft begins Thursday night at 4 p.m. at the Barclays Center in New York and will be televised on ESPN.
