(Las Vegas, NV) — Record-breaking temperatures are expected in the Las Vegas Valley this weekend.

The National Weather Service says an excessive heat watch will be in effect Friday morning through Sunday night.

Daytime highs in Sin City could reach 113 to 115 degrees, with an overnight low of 90 degrees.

Forecasters urge caution, especially for children, the elderly and those with chronic ailments.
