(Las Vegas, NV) — The idea of a new logo for the city of Henderson is on hold.
City manager Jacob Snow says now’s not the right time to make the change in the 20-year-old logo.
He says that while he still thinks it needs an update, spending the money to make the change in the middle of budget cuts just doesn’t seem right.
Snow insisted that the new logo would have been introduced over time to minimize the financial impact, but decided that putting the project on the shelf would be better for now.
He says he ordered an update after someone suggested the logo looks like a hamburger and didn’t reproduce well on small items like business cards.
