(Las Vegas, NV) A Las Vegas judge ruled there is enough evidence for a 26-year-old strip club dancer to stand trial on a felony DUI charge stemming from a crash in March.
Shauna Miller, a dancer at the Spearmint Rhino, will remain in the Clark County Detention Center to await arraignment June 24 in Clark County District Court.
She could face 20 years in prison and a $5,000 fine if she’s convicted.
Witness testimony varied on Thursday. A number of witnesses testified the light was red when Miller barreled through the intersection of Wynn and Spring Mountain. Others said it was yellow.
Miller is accused of having a blood-alcohol level more than twice the legal limit when the Hummer she was driving crashed into a Ford Escort on the morning of March 23rd.
The crash killed James White. White’s 2-year-old son, James Jr., received a skull fracture.
