CBS LAS VEGAS-One in five of Nevada’s high school graduates who try to join the U.S. Army are smart enough to get into the Army. Nevada’s graduation rate is the lowest graduation rate in the country, which makes its true pass rate even lower. Master Sargent Reberto Gallardo talks about why the rate is low in Nevada. In the wake of the recent disclosure of two classified U.S. surveillance programs, most Americans disapprove of the government collecting the phone numbers of ordinary Americans, but approve of its monitoring those suspected of terrorist activity, according to a new CBS News poll.
