(Las Vegas, NV)  —  After a weekend of record high temperatures, the Las Vegas Valley is expected to cool down.

Saturday’s high of 112 degrees was a new record for June 8th, while yesterday’s official high of 110 degrees was just one short of the all-time record.

Forecasters expect daytime temperatures to hover around the 100-degree mark for the rest of the week.
