LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say a Las Vegas police officer is injured after a suspect pushed her off a second-story motel balcony.
Police say the confrontation started when an officer made a traffic stop about 2 a.m. Wednesday and the suspect fled.
The officer chased the man to the Ponderosa Motel near Sahara Avenue and Fremont Street when the suspect turned around and pushed her off a balcony.
Police say she fell about 10 feet and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect was later arrested.
Authorities say a male police officer also suffered minor injuries in the incident.
