School Board Extends Superintendent Debate
(Las Vegas, NV) – The Clark County School Board still hasn’t decided whether use a search firm to expand the hunt for a new superintendent.
The board listened to almost five hours of testimony from the public Monday night, hearing a mix of opinions.
Many voiced support for interim Superintendent Pat Skorkowsy and a desire to see a local candidate retained, while others said a nationwide search is appropriate to find the best applicant.
The board adjourned without making a decision, and will resume discussion Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
