Local Red Cross Helping Oklahoma Victims

LAS VEGAS — The Southern Nevada Red Cross is doing everything they can to help tornado victims. The Las Vegas office is reaching out to its volunteers. Lloyd Ziel is the public information officer with the American Red Cross southern Nevada chapter, and he says they are monitoring social media, and have plenty of volunteers ready if needed.

The American Red Cross Southern Nevada Chapter has already sent its chief development officer to assist in Oklahoma. Ziel says if you want to get involved you can check out the website Red Cross dot-org. On the website it details how to donate money to a special fund to help victims, and even hold your own fundraiser if you wish.
