(Las Vegas, NV)  —  The Clark County school board has approved a two-point-one-billion-dollar budget.  It contains a four-percent spending increase.

Interim superintendent Pat Skorkowsky says it’s the first budget in recent years without cuts.

The additional money will go toward hiring new teachers and staff, and buying replacement buses and computers.
