(Las Vegas, NV)  —  Temperatures in Sin City will hit the century mark for the first time this year.

The National Weather Service says today’s high is expected to reach 101 degrees, and will do so again tomorrow.

It’s earlier than average, but not a record for Las Vegas.  Back on May 1st, 1947, the thermometer made it up to 100 degrees.
