(Las Vegas, NV) — A public review of a deadly police shooting is scheduled for later this week.
Last November, Daniel Hathorne was shot and killed by Metro Police officers after he allegedly held a pair of knifes to an elderly woman’s neck.
It will be the second fact-finding review of an officer-involved shooting under a new process that replaced the coroner’s inquest.
Prosecutors will outline the essential facts in the case, and a presiding officer and ombudsman will ask witnesses questions.
The review will be held Friday at the Clark County Government Center.
