(Carson City, NV)  —  Live entertainment in Nevada, from brothels to concerts, would be taxed under a bill scheduled to be introduced tomorrow.

Democratic leaders say the eight-percent tax will end exemptions some businesses now get, including strip clubs and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

It’s likely to face opposition from Governor Brian Sandoval and Republicans in the Legislature.

If approved, voters would have their say in the fall of 2014.
