(Las Vegas, NV)  —  Congressman Steven Horsford says he’ll work to get more federal anti-terrorism funding for the Las Vegas Valley.

The “Las Vegas Sun” says the freshman lawmaker toured the Southern Nevada Counter-Terrorism Center yesterday, and says the facility is critical to keeping the Vegas Valley safe.

This year, Sin City fell three spots on the list of American cities vulnerable to a terror attack.

Local officials fear a loss of federal funding, despite the 40-million visitors who come to Las Vegas each year.
