(Carson City, NV)  —  The Nevada Senate has unanimously approved a bill that restricts where welfare recipients can use their benefits.

SB 381 bans the use of electronic public assistance cards in liquor stores, strip clubs and casinos.

The measure now goes to the Assembly.  It is expected to pass, bringing Nevada into compliance with fereral law.
