(LAS VEGAS, KXNT)–Saturday marked the grand opening and dedication of of a Nature Center exhiit gallery at Clark County’s Wetlands Park.
Visitors can view Wetlands videos, displays and photos which explain the ecological riches of the area and environmental issues the park will help solve.
The new complex comprises 45,000 square feet, including an auditorium and information center. Wetlands Park is the county’s largest. Its at 7050 Wetlands Park Lane, a mile east of Boulder Highway off Tropicana. The Nature Preserve features two miles of concrete walking trails and secondary trails which are graveled and ADA accessible. There are half-mile loops of trails off the main Duck Creek Trail.
