Coroner: Body Is Missing Creech Airman

(LAS VEGAS, KXNT)–The Clark County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the body pulled from Lake Mead this week is the airman from Creech Air Force Base who has been missing there since last June.

No cause of death was listed for Antonio Clayton Tucker, 29, who presumably drowned. He was found in 280-foot deep water. In June of last year, he was trying to swim back to a boat during high winds on the lake. He was on an outing with a woman and child on the lake.

A diving instructor who says he was prevented by the Park Service from conducting a search for Tucker at the time of the disappearance recently received permission to search the area. His efforts began Monday.
