Police: 3 Sparks Men Accused Of Stealing 350 IPhones
SPARKS, Nev. (AP) — Sparks police have arrested three men accused of stealing more than 350 cellphones from their employer.
Police say 27-year-old Jose Becerra, 22-year-old Jose Inurriaga and 28-year-old Daniel Ruiz each have been into the Washoe County jail on suspicion of embezzlement.
All three worked at Osburn-Hessey Logistics in Sparks. Detectives say they sold more than 350 iPhone 5s to a suspect in California for cash.
Investigators recovered $20,000 in cash and seized a vehicle they say was purchased with proceeds from the sales of the iPhones.
Police say more arrests are expected in connection with the thefts.
