(Las Vegas, NV) — Contract talks between the culinary union and two major Las Vegas resort firms kick off today.
Culinary negotiators will meet with their counterparts at MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment.
Union officials hope to maintain current wages and benefits for thousands of workers at 20 Strip resort.
The current contract expires June 1st.
Also expiring in June are contracts with Treasure Island, Stratosphere, Tropicana, Riviera and LVH, although negotiations with those resorts have not been scheduled.
