(Las Vegas, NV) — The 18-year-old accused of plowing a vehicle into a crowded restaurant while under the influence of prescription drugs appeared before a judge Thursday morning.

Gage James Lindsey could face decades in prison if he is convicted on multiple felony counts.

The judge set Lindsey’s bail at $500,000.

The lunchtime Monday crash left 10 people injured at the Egg & I on Sahara Avenue.

Police say Lindsey tried to toss a Xanax pill while he and a 21-year-old passenger, David Roldan, began running from the scene. They were tackled by witnesses.

Roldan isn’t charged with a crime.

Authorities allege Lindsey didn’t have a prescription for drugs he said he had taken.

His next court date is set for April 11th.
