More Money For Metro?

(Las Vegas, NV) — City and county officials will decide next week whether to allocate more money for police officers.

Sheriff Doug Gillespie wants an additional $27 million next fiscal year to hire over 100 new officers and dozens of civilian employees.

Some lawmakers wonder where they will get the extra money Metro wants, and they warn other services may have to be cut.
