(Las Vegas, NV) — A state Senator thinks Nevada should be able to run a medical marijuana center, especially if a conservative place like Arizona can.

Senator Tick Segerblom and several other Nevada lawmakers were in Arizona last week. They visited a medical pot dispensary, a grow-house and then the state Capitol to meet with their Arizona counterparts.

Segerblom says he was impressed with the way Arizona is running its pot dispensary.

He’s sponsoring a bill that would create local pot dispensaries and grow-houses.

Medical marijuana is legal in Nevada, but patients have to grow it themselves or obtain it from caregivers who grow it.
