CBS LAS VEGAS-Brian Fadie, Executive Director at Progress Now Nevada, talks about why we need stricter gun laws in the United States. Bob Irwin, Owner of The Gun Store and Host of ‘Fired Up’ heard on KXNT Sunday’s 5:00PM-7:00PM, explains why we need to arm responsible citizens to prevent crime.

State Assemblywomen Michelle Fiore introduced a bill that would allow students to carry concealed weapons on college campuses. The bill allows concealed permit holders to carry on Nevada higher education campuses, except for at campus sporting events with a seating capacity of 1,000 or more. It also authorizes campus police to inform permit holders of firearm educational opportunities. Michelle Fiore, Assemblywomen for District 4, talks about her bill and why it is important to have concealed carry on college campuses. Professor Ian Bartrum, UNLV Professor of Constitutional Law, explains the 2nd amendment and why it is important to American citizens. Professor Ian Bartrum also takes questions from the audience and callers.

Samantha Steelman, Nevada State Organizer for the States United to Prevent Gun Violence, explains why she wants stricter gun laws. Jessica, a Columbine Survivor, talks about why she wants to see universal background to buy fire arms.
