Las Vegas – In the last regular season game for seniors Justin Hawkins, Anthony Marshall and Quintrell Thomas the Rebels were upset by visiting Fresno State 61-52 on Saturday.

Fresno’s Kevin Foster scored 25 points of the bench, including six 3-pointers, to shock UNLV and sweep the season series between the to schools.

Mike Moser and Anthony Marshall each led UNLV with 11 points. UNLV had no field goals in the last 9:51 and lost for just the second time in their last 36 home games. UNLV finishes the regular season in third place with a 23-8 record and 10-6 in the Mountain West

The Rebels (23-8, 10-6) will face No. 6 seed Air Force (17-12, 8-8) in the 12 p.m. quarterfinal game on Wednesday, which will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
