(Carson City, NV) — If one lawmaker has his way, the annual Burning Man festival will be held in Southern Nevada.

State Senator David Parks has proposed moving the counter-culture art festival from its home north of Reno, to one of the Las Vegas Valley’s dry lake beds.

Burning Man draws about 60,000 people and generates about $30 million dollars for northern Nevada.
