LAS VEGAS (CBS Las Vegas) — The official tourism website for Las Vegas lists 18 strip clubs recommended for visitors seeking a salacious good time while in Sin City.

And according to a new study, many of those soliciting such establishments – men in particular – are making use of AOL email accounts to coordinate plans with their friends.

Technology website Beta Beat is reporting that the new study from British event planners Chillisauce found AOL visitors to be the most likely visitors of the adult-themed establishments.

In order to reach their conclusion, researchers reportedly looked at the habits of 100,000 of their customers, analyzing the events of preference for various email server users. While AOL users opted for partial nudity, users of Hotmail or Gmail allegedly preferred to dine out, visit a nightclub or engage in a bar crawl.

“There could be plenty of men with AOL email addresses who are now sweating about what their wives and girlfriends think they get up to,” a source at Chillisauce was quoted as saying to the tech website.

Researchers also observed that iPhone users tend to travel in larger social groups – as many as 15 people or more per outing, according to Beta Beat.
