(Las Vegas, NV) — Metro Police confirm for the first time there were three others in the Range Rover with murder suspect Ammar Harris last week during the Strip shooting and crash. One of those passengers, a 22 year old Miami woman, Tineesha Howard, is no longer considered by police as a ‘person of interest’. Associated Press reports police located her out of state Wednesday night. Howard confirmed through instagram messages she was OK.
In the past week, police have at various times used the term ‘occupants’ in the role of the Range Rover Sport in the shooting and crash case. Their identification of Howard as a passenger was the first time they had confirmed additional persons in the SUV than 26 year old Harris, who allegedly shot and killed the driver of a Maserati, which then slammed a taxi at Flamingo and Las Vegas Boulevard, killing a driver and passenger.
Police have not named the other two occupants of the Range Rover beyond Harris and Howard. Police have said Harris was the only armed person shooting that evening, including Maserati driver Kenneth Cherry.
Taxi driver Michael Boldon was memorialized in a service in Las Vegas Wednesday. Taxi companies have offered a $35,000 reward in the case.
The search for Ammar Harris expanded this week to include areas where he has lived, including George and South Carolina.
